Personal Mission
I want a life shaped by deep relationships, freedom to chase what excites me, and real service to the people I work for (and with). I come from a long line of entrepreneurs, and I've been negotiating with that particular breed since I was a kid, which turns out to be surprisingly good training for this job. I probably understand founders better than I understand most lawyers. Outside of work, you'll find me exploring San Francisco with my girlfriend and our bearded collie Georgie, skiing whenever I can get to a mountain, yelling at a TV on Saturdays in the fall (roll wave!), or building little software tools to organize a life I otherwise can't organize on my own.
Why Mission Law?
Mission Law prioritizes exploration, building, and efficiency in a way that genuinely serves founders, a combination I found to be surprisingly rare in this industry. I first connected with the firm during my first year of law school, and what stuck with me was something I hadn't seen many other places in law: a handful of people I could actually picture myself becoming, and being proud of it. Kevin has been my biggest mentor, and Tony, Mindy, and Sumin have each shaped how I think about both the craft and the life I want to build around it. The flat hierarchy, the startup atmosphere, and a tech stack that actually makes the work better rather than busier all add up to a firm I'm genuinely proud to be part of.
