Personal Mission
I aim to live a life full of meaning and adventure. I’ve found adventure in all sorts of activities, whether it’s bungee jumping, rock climbing, a solo cross country road trip, camping under the stars with my dog for company, or, lately, just walking down the street while my toddler stares in wonder at some bugs. That’s why startup law has always appealed to me: I spend my days working with passionate founders with a wide variety of exciting new ideas for how to move us all forward. I find meaning in helping these ideas come to fruition, and I strongly believe that it’s possible—and preferable—to both make money and do good. It’s always fun to see founders’ hard work be rewarded with a huge exit, but some of my favorite moments arrive in the beginning, collaborating with founders focused on the amazing new thing they’re creating. I find that startups thrive when the mission is the driving force, and I am so fortunate to be a part of my clients’ adventures.
